As I sit listening to Yeats
My heart palpitates
Everything else waits
While my mind creates.
Buddha
Sharp as a dagger the morning light comes through
Ruthless in its path, kills the morning dew.
I lie awake but feel nothing new
Tossing and turning is all I do.
You are on my mind but I can't reach you.
Buddha
There once was a lass of unsurpassed grace
The lady of lorn was she
she had tresses of gloam and a beauty-filled face
and her soul was as vast as the sea
Every word that came forth from her curvaceous lip
every gaze that she had caused men's hearts to drip
was a blesssing from Goddess to man
and their faces turned red, and then wan
for she was the peak of worldly charm
and her countenance was quite a sight
and she recoiled with terror and fright
This repulsive freak needed a friend
so he tried to converse with Persephone
but she turned him away, and his heart she did rend,
and all he has left is a memory

Above this that is life
Above the daily jetstream of flotasam
which flings its vapors acroos the morrow
(Unseen by a generation made numb)
Is a break in the liquid surface.
cosmic scales stand, defying mind and time
bouncing towards order with a smile.
quivering towards chaos with a misplaced word.
My Yin yang lies greyed
my humors never cease their ebb and tide.
the only balance i have is when i dream of mendlebrot autumns.
Collapsing leaves tumble down in fractal patterns
which i trace with the unerring clarity of an eye of a diety
until one lands impollisbly on my nose...
and I awake to the blaring sounds of car horns.
Topher
square hulks
of letters of characters of texts that were
the smudges on the bulbs of my eye
sloughed snakeskin grains of emotion
the little pictures of tombs.
i tried to carve out a meaning but i lost
i told you a smiley
i my ears are open
you
flirt i can't touch
you words rape love me

How can I leave,
How can I stay,
so much I have spent,
so much more to pay.

I believed in you
As one I could trust
Until you showed me
My faith was unjust.
Do you know what it means
To be a friend?
Or is it to you
A means to an end?
You asked me to talk
If I'm feeling bad
Was the offer sincere
Or just a fad?
While you were listening
Did you really care?
Or thinking with whom
My words you could share.
One of life's lessons
I've learned from the net
Some people are friends
For what they can get.
Canefan
Jodie is her name, young at heart,
the person to talk to from the start,
for any newbie,
she is the one to see,
for help, questions, and residency,
I consider her part family and friend,
and wish our relationship would never end
But in this world, we don't get what we want,
so we act our lives out in courier font,
though as time passes and we are separated by land
I will always remember my good friend canefan.
love always: Jason S. Allington 95'
You are someone special who truly cares
If you ever need me, I will be there.
You have a kind heart and a giving soul
Making you smile is now my goal.
You have eased my pain my heart you have touched
You have made me smile, you have given so much.
You are special and very sweet
Making you happy will be my treat.
You seem to be such a treasure
Spending time with you is always a pleasure.
Moonlite
A tree grows slowly, little voices bursting
and rose petals laugh merrily at the wind
I walk on, eyes closed.
Bumblebees buzz their saccharine song
children race on asphalt grass
against a blonde and freckled lass --
unseen against these joys I pass
Iwonder what is wrong.
A pan - spawn stops, and, grinning,
picks up a frog and strokes its skin
the frog looks at me and winks
I try to smile, but my lips have frozen
I look around, and underneath
as if a dream upon a dream
lies a scene that causes all my soul
to scream --
There are mourners there, they lay to rest
a man, nay, a child at best
and there upon his fragile breast
is the sight that makes my soul undressed.
His heart is gone, has been plucked out
I mourn his as my brother, as my son
and then the sights begin to fade
I stand, again, upon this road...
The youth is gone, the lass as well
Farewell, I cry, and thou must laugh!
The light fades, my blood with flowing dread
informs my mind that we are dead.
And so I walk, and pay no heed
to the grass that grows, and the sprouting seed
this question I ask, there's no answer to give
How can I be dead, when I never did live?

Dedicated to Aimer, Canefan, Zenia and one other
The skies are as black as night outside...
The stars shine like faraway candles through the night..
The wind whispers like leaves across the sand
The sands of time blow through the night like a long lost lover,
Time snaking through the sand crushing wrinkles into rusted earth,
The winds of fate crushing like waves through the rocks of emotions,
The emotions curling through heavens like fingers through your hair,
Hair blowing across your face like coral reefs across the ocean bed,
The ocean heaving and breathing with an energy like electricity,
The electric currents of your thoughts flowing like sparks
through copper,
The wires of your imagination enshrouding your reality like a towel,
The warmth and comfort of wool rasping under your feet like grass,
The blades of endless variations of green cutting through the earth
like a rivers stream,
The streams of your tears washing into the sea
like raindrops on an ocean of heat.
The heat of your life blasting across the depths of space
on the wings of a dove
The silence rippling through your perceptions,
trickling through your imagination
like puppies and a 101 spotted dalmations.
Spots of joy and laughter piercing through the clouds
of inspirations.
Reflections of light actions and dark reactions
looking back with ghostly presence,
Smiling with lucid accusations.
Ripples of thoughts across the imagination
lighting the candles of past and future addictions.
Shadows and footsteps echoing through time and space
wrapping around your soul with a happy face...
Take a walk.. a walk in the everglades..

Dreamquake...
now nothing's what is seems
Dreamquake
possessed by all our schemes
Dreamquake
fallen angels drown the sky
dreamquake
today I saw the future die
Sinking fast
but he doesn't care to swim
he doesn't want to live
just to face this all again
Simple words
nothing magical at all
prove enough
to tear down his wall
Dreamquake
broken backs of angels past
dreamquake
everyone knows that nothing lasts
